We have a dedicated team of Clergy, readers, staff and volunteers. Our Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the governing body of St Nick's. St Nick's is a charity and PCC members are trustees of the charity. For a list of PCC members please click here.

Reverend Sarah Watson

Priest in Charge

Sarah joined the St Nick's Church team in January 2024 and is also Area Dean for the Diocese of Derby. She is also a sports chapain and a keen sports fan. For her full bio please click here.

Reverend Rachael Brooks

Associate Priest

Rachael joined the St Nick's Church team in January 2024 and is primarily based at our sister churches of St Eds and St Matts. For her full bio please click here.

Miriam Chappell

Designated Safeguarding Lead

Paul Taylor

Church Warden

Church wardens are, along with the parish priest, responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the parish. Their duties include overseeing the church building, finances, and thye may lead worship. Church Wardens are elected at the Annual Parochial Church meeting (APCM) and are members of the PCC.

Rachel Kennedy

Children's and Youth Lead

Rachel joined us in January 2025 and works part time, her working days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For more information on childrens and youth work please click here.

Emma Patterson

Church Administrator

Emma is based in the St Nick's Church office and works part time (see below for office hours). Emma handles all requests for bookings and life events as well as being administrative support for the clergy team and PCC.
